Electropop pioneer Karel Fialka releases an album ‘Peace v War’.

Recorded with the Racecar project (aka Kevin McGowan and Richard Rogers) in Gozo, the album is available as a 12″ vinyl LP or by download and features cover artwork by Grammy Design Award nominee Mike Ross.

Fialka was born in Bengal to a Scots mother and Czech father and grew up in the Highlands before his foray into Europe which brought chart success with 80s hits like ‘The Eyes Have It’ and ‘Hey Matthew’. He returned to Scotland in the mid 90s to bring up his family, working with local act Sgian Dubh and lecturing at North Highland College for ten years.

Since then he has worked with and written for acts ranging from Jona Lewie and Paul Roberts to Colin Blunstone, Martin Stephenson and Cliff Richard.
