Glaswegian-based musician Kapil Seshasayee releases his debut album, ‘A Sacred Bore’.

A concept album based around India’s caste system, it’s available via Liverpool-based label Loner Noise.

The ten tracks follow on from previous singles ‘The Agitprop’, ‘A Sacred Bore’ and ‘Caustic Wit’, as Seshasayee expands on issues ranging, as he says, “from the often-overlooked connections between the American far-right and upper-caste Indians to honour killings committed in diaspora which continue to be under-reported”.

At the tail end of a UK tour there are two more Scottish launch shows, at Leith Depot on September 14th and Glasgow’s Hug & Pint on the 15th.
