The June Brides release a new EP, ‘She Seems Quite Free’, via Occultation Recordings, and Slumberland in the USA, following their comeback single, 2012’s ‘Moon/Cloud’.

There are three tunes on the vinyl and download offering, two Phil Wilson songs – the title track and ‘Being There’ plus guitarist Simon Beesley’s ‘I’m Undone’. Other original members Frank Sweeney and Jon Hunter are present on the recordings, and are joined by Steve Beswick (drums) and Arash Torabi (bass).

The band had been dormant until the release of ‘Moon/Cloud’, having split in 1986 after having produced five singles/EPs as well as one album, ‘There Are Eight Million Stories’, which reached no. 1 in the UK Indie chart.
