John Rush releases a new single, ‘Sister’.
It’s the first new material from the Glasgow-based solo singer-songwriter since his debut album ‘Beneath The Apple Tree’, from April last year.
Since then, Rush has sold out his first ever headline show in Glasgow at Room 2 and also joined the 23 Music Management family, before ending 2019 with single ‘Gold & Green’ which was accompanied a video shot at Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom.
Plans have been somewhat curtailed following a full house watching him play at Celtic Connections on the Danny Kyle Stage in Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, a set which was broadcast live and worldwide for Celtic Music Radio.
The new single can be streamed via Spotify, or obtained at johnrushmusic.bigcartel.com, where tickets for the next live show can also be found.
That gig is planned for Wednesday 14th of October, at Glasgow’s Saint Luke’s, along with special guests Connor Fyfe, Sadie Marie and Stara Zagora.

The single comes with a video, filmed during lockdown and with social distancing measures in place in one full 8 hour session, by Keep It Creative.
