Berlin-based singer-songwriter Jim Kroft releases his debut album ‘Lunatic Lullabies’ – it’s on the independent Jackalope label, which significant as Kroft was, we’re told, the last act to be signed by EMI before the historic label’s takeover by Universal. This mean that his album’s intended for release was scrapped.
However, thanks to his own filmmaking as well as a publishing deal with BMG Rights, Kroft can now release his music – the album recorded in London by Matt Ingram (drummer for Tom Odell, Paloma Faith, Laura Marling) and Dan Cox (Three Trapped Tigers, Fyfe Dangerfield)
And taken from the album, a single, ‘Threads’.
