Edinburgh based electronic indiepop act Inkfields release a new single ‘Nights Like These’.
Released as CD and downlaod, it’s the third single to be taken from their recent album ‘Beneath The Waves’ which was funded by Creative Scotland.
Inkfields is the brainchild of Samuel James-Griffiths, who has toured as audio engineer with Aussie rock band The Wishing Well. It was while on the road that he visited Dresden and began his own musical career when he decided to live there, using it as a base for extensive tours of Germany and Austria and trips into Switzerland, Sweden, Italy and France
James-Griffiths performs lead guitar, bass and vocals on the album’s dozen tracks, and is joined by Dave Major on drums and Graeme Young on synths, the latter of whom who recorded and mixed the album as well as co-producing it with its creator, at Chamber Studios.
