I Solar release an EP ‘Born Of The Jackal’

It’s the latest project of Samuel Smith, formerly of Mother and the Addicts and Casual Sex.

Available to stream or download, there are five tracks on the EP – as well as the title track there’s ‘Hsuan Passion’, ‘Bring Yer Army’, ‘Concubine’ and ‘Manchester 1977’ – the latter two having previously appeared as singles on the Little Tiger label.

Recorded and produced by Smith at Green Door Studio Glasgow, Peter Masson and Chris McCrory also perform on the EP while Andrew Robertson and Claudia Nova provided additional vocals.

Smith is coincidentally featured artist on ‘Green Water‘ – the b-side of the current single ‘Olive Tree’ by Creeping Bent’s collaborative project Port Sulphur.
