Howie B releases a new single, ‘Brass Is Brass’, on his own Pussyfoot Records.

The new single, available as a download as well as on Spotify, marks the label’s relaunch following a hiatus, following a run of 20 album releases from 1994-2002. The DJ’s most recent release was 2014’s ‘Down With The Dawn’, for which he set up HB Records.

The Scots-born producer, now living on a small Island in France, recorded, produced & mixed the new track at Chilli Mobile Ile D’Oleron.

Previously Howie B has recorded for seminal electronic labels including Mo’Wax and Eye Q, before signing to major label Polydor for a deal that spanned four full-length albums as well as mixing and engineering for Siouxsie and the Banshees, Massive ATtack, Goldie & Bjork.

The latest track is deemed a collaboration with Austrian visual artist Tofa (Chris Noelle), who is responsible for the artwork and music video, and who is known for his involvement with the club ‘Tresor’ where he is the artistic director.
