How To Swim, the multi-member Glasgow-based musical conglomerate, release a compilation album, ‘2000-2015: A How to Swim Retrospective’.

‘HTS ’15’ – which looks a little like ‘Hits’ – contains, yes, 15 tracks, one for each year of the band’s existence between 2000 and 2015. It includes fan favourites like ‘Bones’, ‘Genesis P and Me’, and ‘A Little Orgasm of Disappointment’. Although no ‘Bacterium’. Ah well.

On the band’s own Personal Hygiene label, it’s available as a download as well as a limited CD.

Accompanying the new album is a digital-only compilation, ‘Filthy Collision: Curiosities from the ‘How to Swim’ Vault, Vol. 1′. Containing 24 tunes, it is a grab-bag of demos and outtakes, radio sessions, compilation appearances (including a June Brides cover, of ‘On the Rocks’), plus live recordings including their take on Peter Gabriel’s ‘Sledgehammer’.
