HAVR release a new single, ‘It’s Not The End Of The World (But You Can See It From Here)’, available as a free download.
It follows up the Glasgow-based trio’s previous EP ‘Some People Are Inconvenient‘ – which was also made available as a free download by the band.
The new track is, as vocalist Carrie Marshall says, “about the lockdown, of course, but it’s also about the bigger and even more frightening spectre of climate change: while we’re all self-isolating.
The lyric goes: “Half the world’s on fire while the other half drowns… “Let’s build something better on the other side”. “Despite the subject matter it’s a song about determination, not despair,” she says. “After all, it’s not the end of the world.”
The track can be downloaded for free at Bandcamp, as well as streamed via the usual suspects such as Google, Spotify, and Apple Music
