Harsh Winters release a new single, ‘Holster’.

The track from Luke Joyce is the first of three songs recorded remotely with friends during the lockdown period by the former Gothenburg Address / Collapsible Mountains singer and guitarist.

Available to stream or download, the track is the first new material from the Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter since his debut album under the Harsh Winters monicker, ‘The Marriage of a Killer and a Bird Song‘, which came in late in 2019.

“Being stuck on my own away from human interaction of any form has ignited a writing frenzy which is yielding new material daily,” Joyce says of his new material, profits of which will go to the NAACP.

‘Holster’ features backing vocals by Seattle based artist Daniel G. Harmann, with whom Joyce was a labelmate around 10 years ago, and was mastered By Robin Sutherland.
