Glasgow-based band Hank Tree release a new single, ‘On the Way’.

The song is taken from the band’s debut EP, released in November 2018 by the Chilean label Uva Robot.

‘On the Way’, like the other four songs from the EP, are inspired by the life and work of artist Marc Chagall.

The trio – songwriter Fergus MacDonald (formerly of the State Broadcasters) plus live musicians Roy Mohan Shearer (ULTRAS, Inspector Tapehead) and guitarist Malcolm Black (The Great Albatross) – are joined by Mike Truscott, of Dundonian duo Kinbrae.

Also, there are contributions from producers Andy Bush (We Were Promised Jetpacks, Twilight Sad, De Rosa) and Roy Macdonald (Los Varios Artistas).

‘On The Way’ and the full Hank Tree EP are available now as a free download via the Uva Robot website, but a physical copy can be obtained as the EP is also released on 10″ vinyl.
