The Grand Gestures – the collaborative project put together by Spare Snare’s Jan Burnett – has released its third album, cleverly entitled ‘Third’.
The final part of the trilogy contains tracks from previous contributors including Sparrow & the Workshop’s Jill O’Sullivan, comedian Sanjeev Kohli, and Pauline Alexander, plus new names in Andrew Mitchell, Goldie Cameron, and a couple of familiar names – Grahame Skinner – former Hipsway frontman – and Gary Clark, the Danny Wilson vocalist’s first recording in many years. There’s even a track featuring a spoken word piece by Burnett’s daughter Nina.

The album is available to download, or as a physical CD, from the bandcamp site.
