Goodnight Louisa releases a new single, ‘Hollow God’

Available on Spotify, the debut from the East Lothian-based songwriter was produced by Kristofer Harris, who has worked with Belle and Sebastian, Ghostpoet and Bear’s Den.

The release follows a series of studio sessions and a songwriting trip to Þingeyri in Iceland, where Louisa immersed herself in the small local community.

Of the song, she says: “Hollow God is a kiss on the head to the women of the ’50s. The track is inspired by Viv Albertine’s book ‘To Leave Unopened’”.

Upcoming live shows include an appearance at Inverness industry event XpoNorth in July as well as a Summer Nights show on the 28th of July with OK Button.
