Tuesday night sees folkie Joan Baez play the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow while her spiritual offspring Nerina Pallot is in Aberdeen, at the Lemon Tree.

Wednesday night is rave night as Fatboy Slim plays a mystery warehouse (which may turn out to be the Hydro in Glasgow.
Not far from there, Icelandic electro collective GusGus are at SWG3, and Nerina Pallot is in Dundee, at Clarks on Lindsay Street.

On Thursday, Man of Moon are at Cellar 35 in Aberdeen and along the say, Graham Costello’s STRATA bring modern jazz to the Blue Lamp.
In Ayr, Glasgow four-piece Fauves play Harleys and the former Mrs E Smith i.e.Brix, and the Extricated play Edinburgh’s Mash House.

We’re into March on Friday 1st, and Scottish anarcho-punksters Toxik Ephex are in Aberdeen, at Krakatoa. Fauves play Cafe Drummond, and Uniform are at The Wig.
In Irvine, fingerstyle guitarist Preston Reed is at the Harbour Arts Centre and in Glasgow, Brix and the Extricated are at Broadcast. And in similarly intimate surroundings, Kathryn Joseph plays Glasgow University Union’s Debating Chamber/ Alt.blues troubadour Dave Arcari plays Leith Depot, and Paper Machine Music (featuring elements of Viva Stereo) and Lonely Tourist (containing traces of Odeon BeatClub) are at Roobarb in Fort William.
Also up that way, Man of Moon plus The Dazed Digital Age are at The Tooth and Claw in Inverness.

Saturday it’s a big night out for The Twilight Sad – they’re at the Barrowland Ballroom, while Thomas Leer plays his second show in several decades, following a set in Greenock last month, with a set at The Old Hairdresser’s.
Paper Machine Music and Lonely Tourist are at the 13th Note, Dave Arcari is at the Buchanan Memorial Hall, with Andres Roots also on the bill and in Falkirk, Primes are at Behind the Wall.
Brix and the Extricated play Dundee’s Beat Generator and in an unfortunate gig clash, Pleasure Heads are at Church.
And in Edinburgh, King Of The Slums‘ Wee Red Bar show is canceled, unfortunatey, but ska monsters Bombskare play Edinburgh’s Liquid Room.

Finally, on Sunday Kathryn Joseph is in Aberdeen at the Lemon Tree while in Glasgow, at the Galvanizers Yard at SWG3, Slovenian oddballs Laibach.
Fauves play Dundee, at Clarks on Lindsay Street, and Lonely Tourist plus Paper Machine Music are at Edinburgh’s Wee Red Bar.
