For once, we can provide you with a comprehensive gig listing for the week – even if the (virtual) shows are rather bunched around Monday 25th – Burns Night!
The Janey Godley Burns Supper – hosted by the Trump-batting comic – kicks off at 7pm and includes KT Tunstall, Donovan, Skerryvore, Manran, Tidelines, Dougie MacLean, Camille O’Sullivan, Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5. And many more.
Seemingly not Burns-themed, but also on Monday 25th, a Celtic Connections mega-bill – James Grant & Hallelujah String Quartet, Declan O’Rourke, Siobhan Wilson, and Zoë Bestel – watch from 7.30pm.
Oh, and it’d not be a Monday without a livestream set from Dave Arcari, check out his Facebook page from 8pm… but also, he’s running a Slide guitar masterclass over Zoom on Saturday 30th from 7!
On Tuesday, Jamie Scott – previously of Japanese War Effort and MC Almond Milk / CARBS / Conquering Animal Sound – plays tracks from his recent ‘Halcyon Days’ album as part of Independent Venue Week (IVW) at the Glad Cafe – that’s online from 8pm.
