You will be hard pushed to find a gig to go to this week, truth be told (and if there are any on aside from those listed below no-one’s told us.)
Anyway, on Thursday, former Mike + The Mechanics and Squeeze man Paul Carrack‘s at Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall. King Tut’s in Glasgow has The Little Waves. On Friday, one-hit-wonder in waiting, Hozier plays the Usher Hall.
Also on Friday, one-time Babyshambles member Adam Ficek is at Falkirk’s Warehouse. He’s also at GLasgow’s Audio on Saturday. Same night, at King Tut’s, it’s The Phantoms.
Most interesting gig of the week is probably Kettle of Kites at Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh on Saturday. It’s former Admiral Fallow guitarist Tom Stearn, now based in Italy, is back home to launch debut album ‘Loan’.

Can I add this Friday night at Official 13th Note? Breakfast MUFF, Seconds, SHARPTOOTH, Smack Wizards and Twin TWIN MIRRORS, all for a fiver. Doors 7:30, first band at 8:00
You’re welcome – had skimmed their website but must have missed this one. Good lineup!
No worries, it isn’t up on the website yet, bad timing on my part putting a gig on so close to New Year!
Ha, we put a ‘gig’ on last Saturday! Well, the local jazz club anyway… hard core of pensioners came along as usual, but not much walk-up…
