Just one show in town on Tuesday, it’s Day 5 of Hidden Door at Edinburgh’s Old Leith Theatre. Faith Elliott and Siobhan Wilson are both playing, and Song, by Toad are generously offering Jockrock readers dscounted tickets – just get in touch.

On Wednesday 31st, 60s (yes) electronic pioneers Silver Apples drag their ageing bones to Stereo in Glasgow to perform selections old and new including tracks from their current, bang-on-form, album ‘Clinging To A Dream’.

Thursday sees Mark Burgess brings Liverpudlian cult underachievers Chameleons Vox to The Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh. NB: another band of yore, Shriekback, have CANCELLED their O2 ABC show in Glasgow.

And same night at Hidden Door, DTHPDL are at the Old Leith Theatre. And frontman Al Chivers has kindly offered readers of Jockrock discounted tickets for the makers of our top album of 2016. Can you resist? If not, just ask.

Chameleons Vox are also at St Luke’s in Glasgow on Friday, same night as The Divine Comedy who will brave Scotland’s changeable weather patterns with an outdoor shw at Kelvingrove Bandstand. It’s all about nostalgia on Friday – Big in Benelux, 80s minor hitmakers Fischer-Z are at Òran Mór, Glasgow, UK.
And in Bathgate, at the Regal, Snakeskin Shoe Review.

On Saturday, among the atrractions at Aberdeen’s Hazlehead Park are local heroes The Little Kicks, while Be Like Pablo play UnderDog, in the same city, on the same day.
In Edinburgh, at Stramash, party time withJamie & Shoony.
In Inverness, at Ironworks, Chameleons Vox.
And in The Village Inn at East Kilbride, the Daintees-less Martin Stephenson.

Finally, on Sunday June 4th, Kathryn Joseph, along with Tinderbox Orchestra, are at The Old Leith Theatre for another Hidden Door show.
