A small but select bunch of live events this week with Dave Arcari spearheading the next seven day’s live action. It’s the third in his Smokehead series, a 30-minute show from 8pm on Monday 21st June – more details at Facebook.com/groups/DaveArcarisWildcats

On Thursday 24th at 8pm, it’s the 14th in the series of Refuweegee online gigs with music by Martyn Joseph, Tenement and Temple, Farzan Zamen and Sweetheart Review plus spoken word from John Hegley (formerly of The Popticians, though probably not singing on this occasion.

Taking place over Zoom, you can get your invite at www.refuweegee.co.uk/events

The show is a fundraiser for the charity which aims to provide a warm welcome to forcibly displaced people arriving in Glasgow. With no ‘ticket price’ to join the gig, they ask that attendees make a donation of whatever you can to Refuweegee at www.refuweegee.co.uk/your-donations
