In Glasgow that night, Hell Is for Heroes, are at Glasgow’s O2 ABC, while Baxter Dury will, we reckon, show that he has some of his old man’s talent (the late Ian, that is) when he appears at Stereo in Glasgow.

In Dunfermline on the same night, The Van T’s are at P.J. Molloy’s
On Friday, Nieves are at Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh, launching debut album ‘Exist and Expire’ while by way of contrast, Stereophonics are at the AECC (the ‘A’ standing for ‘Aberdeen’). Though you might prefer The Van T’s, who are at The Tunnels on the same evening, or even Depeche Choad at Krakatoa, while the Blue Lamp welcomes Dave Arcari.

And also in Glasgow, Husky Loops are at The Attic Bar.
