Garlands release a brace of new singles*, ‘Happy‘ and ‘Forest Noises‘.

Available to listen to online, they’re the fourth and fifth in the band’s series of monthly releases, following ‘Play Games‘ which was released in late June and which was itself preceded by “Where Things Belong” and “New Weird“.

The trio’s spate of new material has all been recorded while under lockdown though the band have plans to get back to the recording studio soon. However, as they say, “live shows will have to wait.”

The band – Gordon Harrow, Darren Mackay and Stef Blair – formed in 2017 and have played around a dozen gigs including three shows in their hometown venue, King Tut’s.

Songwriter Harrow previous released an EP, which was produced by Ken Stringfellow (The Posies/R.E.M., Big Star) entitled ‘Dream, Girl’.
