Gareth Sager & The Hungry Ghosts release a new EP, ‘St.Jock’.

The three-tracker from the band fronted by the former Pop Group / Rip Rig & Panic mainman is the third single to be taken from The Pop Group and Rip Rig & Panic founder’s new album ‘Juicy Rivers’.

Also on the new record are ‘Going Rogue’ and ‘Swamp Dog Stomp’.

The lead track is not, as the singer says,”directly a homage to Jock Scot though does try to express his spirit in the sense that he was very honest about his failings, which appeared to occur much more than his successes; like most of us! ”

Released on vinyl, CD and available digitally, ‘Juicy Rivers’ is the final instalment of the ‘Creeping Bent Triptych’ and sees Gareth Sager (lead vocals, guitars, noise, production) joined by The Hungry Ghosts who are serial Sager collaborator Ian Holford (drums – The Nectarine No9 / Sexual Objects) and Dan Connolly (bass).

Previous Sager releases on Glasgow label Creeping Bent were ‘The Last Minute of Normal Time’ (2004) and ‘Slack Slack Music’ (2009).
