Glasgow-based guitarist Gareth Dickson has trawled his archives to release four tracks from his past.
The EP was recorded by previous band Blanik around 1997/1998, although a couple of the tunes appeared in re-recorded solo form on the Collected Recordings album.
As well as Dickson on guitar and bass), Blanik featured Al Stewart, Ross Mckenzie and Gavin Stewart. The four tunes – ‘Trip in a Blanik’, ‘Harmonics’, ‘Seagull and ‘Pitter Patter’ – were recorded by Michael Brennan Jr at Sub Station studio in Cowdenbeath.
