Fuzzystar release a single, ‘Superhero’, via Satellite Sounds.

Taken from his latest album Telegraphing, which is still available on vinyl or CD, the track is, like all the ‘band’s material, the work of Edinburgh-based songwriter Andy Thomson.

Fuzzystar has seen many lineups over the years – but always with Thomson at the core, who started solo in Edinburgh, had a stint in London, before returning to Scotland. – the band name, apart from being a combination of influences Big Star and Mazzy Star, also, as Thomson says, reflects the band’s revolving cast of whoever is available at the time – a star which looks like one star but is made of lots of other stars
