Future Get Down release a new single, ‘Tears’.

It’s the first new material from the Edinburgh five-piece following a two-year hiatus – ‘EP1’ and ‘EP2‘ being released in September 2018.

Since then the Edinburgh quintet have been busy in the live arena, supporting the likes of Kraftwerk’s Wolfgang Flür, Jenny Hval and GNOD and playing Blue Dot, Electric Fields and Kelburn Garden Party.

The band – Oliver Kass and Ally Dennis (both formerly of Homework), Sam Bidgood, Jeanne Laidlaw, and Super Inuit man Brian Pokora – have been working with producer Richard Formby, previously known for producing Ghost Poet, Wild Beasts and Spacemen 3.

Recorded at Edinburgh’s Chamber Studio, The Depot, Angus’ Highland Shack and “various homes”, the single is available via Apple Music or Spotify as well as a Bandcamp download.
