Franz Ferdinand release their fourth studio album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, on Domino.
(Is it just me or has this release really snuck up on us, or is it just that the promotion has been aimed at the mainstream? Anyhoo…)

The album, the foursome’s first since 2009’s Tonight, was recorded over the past year, between Alex Kapranos’s studio down Dumfries way and Nick McCarthy’s Sausage Studios in London

The album is available as CD, vinyl and download as wall as deluxe limited edition double CD, plus as a double album packaged in a hand numbered die-cut gatefold sleeve. The bonus disc that comes with the double CD and double LP, entitled Right Notes, Right Words, Wrong Order – a nice nod to Eric Morecambe / Andre Preview, we assume – and documents a live session at Konk Studios in London.

Domino will also release Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action – The Passport Edition. That’s a limited-to-500 (worldwide) deluxe edition of each physical format of the album, all 7”s and 12” singles and access to the highest quality audio files possible plus exclusive tracks and content.
