Glasgow’s For Abel release a single ‘The 17th Failed Hope Song’ on October 29th, via State 51 / First Killing. It’s backed by ‘House of Ghost’.
Older readers may recall the band’s previous incarnation as Nacional – they released a Art/Goes/Pop records, a double A-sided-single ‘Telephone’ and ‘Yorkshire’ before being forced to change their name by some other spoilsport act with a similar-ish name, apparently. Previous output under the new monicker includes album Greater Inventions, on the Flowers in the Dustbin label.
