Flew The Arrow releases a double A-side ‘Come The Wind, Come The Rain / Trail Of Thought’.

Via Electric Honey Records – the student-run label now operating from Glasgow Kelvin College – the single was recorded and mixed in Anchor Lane Studios with Luigi Pasquini, and mastered by Sam Smith of Greendoor Studios.

Flew The Arrow are the work of one man, Ayrshire-based singer-songwriter Lee McGilvray, aided and abetted by The Hoojamamas’ bassist Jack Richardson. Also featured on the new recording are violinist Rhona Macfarlane while Timmy Allan of Awkward Family Portraits plays lap-steel.

McGilvray, who is also part of the 23rd Precinct Music Publishing team, has his next live show at Glasgow’s Blue Arrow on 17th April in support of Calum Ingram.
