It’s all about the weekend gig-wise, which probably means that we’ve overlooked a load of stuff in the next couple of days, but anyway:
If we had to choose one show you should see it’d possibly be this one, and not just because it’s in a good cause…
My Tiny Robots, ballboy (solo) & The Occasional Flickers
play a benefit for Shelter, at The Third Door (new venue on Edinbnigrh’s Lothian Road) on Thursday 22nd. £6 and all for charidee.
(There’s also a sponsored walk for the same charity, follow the links)

We mentioned Fatherson‘s tour last week, well, that comes to an end with a hometown show at Kilmarnock’s Grand Hall on Friday 23rd. I say “hometown”, but there was a curious lack of football -related gloating at the Edinburgh leg of the tour. Maybe understandably, I dunno. Anyway, they were good so you should go see them.

Up to Aberdeen – Bwani Junction take their limited football talents and their rather more impressive Arican-tinged pop, to Tunnels in Aberdeen, on FRiday.

Or, back in what some regard as the capital city, Jesus H. Foxx are at Teviot Row House. Should imagine they will be as good live as they usually are.

Vic Godard – well, actually he’s under the Subway Sect monicker – is on a mini-tour of Scotland. He’s with Davy Henderson, who is calling himself The Sexual Objects these days.
Dates: Friday 23rd @ Glasgow Accies Cricket Club / Saturday 24th @ Edinburgh Voodoo Rooms, and it’s Dundee Beat Generator Live on Sunday 25th.

Finally, back in Embra again, on Sunday – Letters at the Wee Red Bar.
Enjoy!
