Ess_Gee releases a new single, ‘Pyromaniac Lover’ on Single Track Records.

It’s the second release from the Glasgow-based songwriter, and the follow-up to her March debut, ‘Bubble Queen’.

As before, the Glasgow-based songwriter – Shanine Gallagher to her friends and family – worked on the track with producer Joe McAlinden.

The digital release is on Single Track – a joint venture between former Superstar frontman McAlinden and music management company ie:music.

‘Pyromaniac Lover’ is the second release on the new label, which is based in Strachur, in Argyll, down the west coast from Ess-gee’s rural birthplace in Lochaline, near Oban.

Ess_Gee says of the new song: “‘Pyromaniac Lover’ is about the struggle of balancing work life and relationships outside of work. I guess, it’s mainly about how most of my friends feel they are unable to pursue their creative careers, because they are stuck in work which does not allow any time or space to explore their talent… It was this idea of feeling alone even though people were around you all of the time.”
