As ever, our Monday gig update urges you to stop reading and get out of the hosue. But what’s this, two shows in Edinburgh on a Monday night? Brighton indie quintet Fickle Friends play the Electric Circus while Scots metallersMaybe We’re Dead Already are at the Banshee Labrynth.
And if you don’t have time to get to Embra at such short notice, maybe Fencey type Adem at the Hug and Pint is closer to home?

On Tuesday in Inverness, Paisley’s finest, Michael Cassidy, is at the Market Bar.

On Wednesday, Emma Pollock plugs her Album of the Year (and it’s only March) contender ‘In Search of Harperfield’, at Edinburgh’s Voodoo Room.

In Aberdeen, hotly-tipped (there’ we said it) sextet Neon Waltz play Tunnels on Thursday. Down the coast a little, punk veterans The Stranglers are at Perth Concert Hall. They’re also at Inverness Ironworks on Friday (and, they also play Glasgow’s O2 on Saturday, the same night that a band called Straighten Out are at Nice’n’Sleazy – coincidence?)

Back to Friday, and Model Aeroplanes are back home, at Fat Sams in Dundee. In Edinburgh, Poor Things are at The Safari Lounge in Edinburgh. And Kevin McDermott, sans orchestra, is at Irvine’s Harbour Arts Centre.

Saturday night sees Errors at La Belle Angele while in Glasgow, Colonel Mustard & the Dijon Five (plus quite a few friends) are at the Barrowland.
Finally, We Were Hunted launch their new EP at The Garage.
