Elvis Valentine and The Ghosts of Chance release(s) a new album, ‘The Book of Numbers’.

Available as a bandcamp download, 13 track long-player is the debut solo release from Kevin Fraser, formerly of SL Records’ The 55’s as well as Saint Judes Infirmary

Currently a member of the capital’s premier shoegaze combo Wozniak, the bassist details how the album nearly didn’t happen at all.

“These were a bunch of songs I was working on before a catastrophic hard drive disaster,” he explains. “These songs are a collection of the best rudimentary mixdowns for my own benefit at the time.

“None of them were finished properly, but I guess that means they are now,” he jokes. “Some have slurred vocals, mixed up lyrics, off key singing and all manner of unprofessional practices.”
