Electron Mass release a new single, ‘Don’t Go’.

It’s the fifth release from the band, following up a single from earlier this year, ‘Dopamine Girl‘.

Previously the duo – songwriters Sorensen Small and Brendan McAndrew – put out a trilogy of EPs about the Sun, the Earth and the Moon on their own Of Human Bonding label.

The latest track features a lead vocal from Mancunian musician Dawn Berry.

The clarinettist – who relocated to the Scottish Borders after completing a six year service in the Royal Marines – initially became involved with Electron Mass on her instrument of choice, but during the recording sessions took on the lead vocal part as part of “a little experiment”.

Pleased with results, the band released the track as their new single, which is available to download.
