E.Bias release a self-titled EP via the Kick and Clap label, on 45 RPM 12” and digital download.

The band consist of Glasgow-based singer Richard Youngs, Turner Prize winner Luke Fowler and Franz Ferdinand / Yummy Fur drummer Paul Thomson.

‘The E.BIAS EP’ contains 22 minutes of music over half-a-dozen tracks – ‘No Way Back’, ‘Emergency’, ‘Landfill’, ‘Share’, ‘Ride’ and ‘Pleasure’.

The six tunes were all written by one Emmanuel Maggi – a 1980s Italian synth / dance pioneer who until recently had withdrawn from musical activities, until, on making contact with Richard Youngs, collaborated with the trio. Initially ‘covering’ the tunes of Maggi, the band decided to adopt the name the Ancona-based musician had originally used – E.Bias.
