dorec-a-belle release a single, ‘Stoopid’, available to stream/download via all the usual digital music platforms (including Spotify, iTunes)
The indie-pop/folk five-piece – Maryann Frew, Liza Mulholland and Bev Fraser plus Robin Abbot and Derek Urquhart – released their debut album ‘Listen’ in 2014.
Since then the members have been working individually, until reconvening for an overnight stay in a Highlands bothy.
Here they wrote a song based on an encounter Bev had with an unfortunate, drunk and homeless, man in Nashville, who had said to her: “I just saw my counsellor and he just called me stoopid”. The rest is history, and indeed, the new single.
