Indiepop collective Disco Mary release their debut single, ‘My Cartoon Life’, via Groove Bound Records.

The track is the work of electro-pop star Charly Haze (Charlot Henzen), originally from Amsterdam, who at the age of 15 signed her first record deal and toured with La Roux, Noisettes and Ellie Goulding with her former band I Kissed Charles.

Henzen has teamed up with Kev Sherry, of Scottish indie act Attic Lights, who have released three albums over the years, most recently 2019’s ‘Love In The Time Of Shark Attacks‘, while Sherry recently released his debut solo album, ‘Foxy Orthodoxy‘, in September 2020.

Also part of the setup is producer Chris McCrory, singer, songwriter and producer for Catholic Action (Modern Sky Records) as well as part of Slow Weather (Last Night From Glasgow).
