Dean Owens releases a ‘best of’ album, ‘The Man From Leith’.

On Eel Pie Records, the 10-track long-player is available on 12″ coloured vinyl, or on CD with seven bonus songs.

Originally the front man for Scottish alt country/cowpunk band The Felsons, Owens has released seven albums over his solo career, spanning two decades.

Owens also recently organised the ‘Cash Back In Fife‘ festival celebrating the Man In Bklack’s Scottish roots – reviewed here by the Fife Free Press.

Among the featured tracks on ‘The Man From Leith’ – i.e. those deemed his ‘best’ – are ‘The Night Johnny Cash Played San Quentin’, ‘Elvis Was My Brother, ‘Raining In Glasgow’, and ‘Strangers Again’ – a duet with Karine Polwart.
