David Thomas Broughton releases the first part of a mammoth triple vinyl album entitled ‘Crippling Lack’, on the Song, by Toad label.
Recorded on three different continents while Broughton was living in Pyongyang, North Korea, the complete opus features contributions from Beth Orton, Sam Amidon, Aidan Moffat, Rachael Dadd and Luke Drozd.
The set will be released as three different volumes with three different labels: Vol.1 is available now via Edinburgh label Song, by Toad; Vol.2 with French imprint LeNoizeMaker in France on 2nd May, and Vol.3 with Paper Garden Records on 6th June.
