davesnewbike release a new single, ‘Smiling at the Croft’, on Fogo Records.

It’s the first new recorded material since sophomore album ‘The Tin Can and the Flood’, which came out in October 2017.

The single from the Edinburgh-based combo is, they tell us, inspired by the Gairloch family home of singer-songwriter Tom Houston, which has been passed down through his family.

The frontman is joined by Kris Jozajtis, Sam Wilson, and Simon Jaquet in making “a salty piece of folk-rock with psych tendencies: A tall tale of mermaids, driftnets and peat smoke,” it’s available to download via Bandcamp and the usual digital outlets.
