Venus As A Boy aka Cameron Phair – releases a single, ‘Most Of The Year’, available via streaming services
Craig Irving releases a new single, ‘By My Side’, via Apple Music. It follows ‘Without You‘, which was the final part in a trilogy of singles in 2020 from the former Manran vocalist.
Edinburgh-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist A. Maxwell follows up his single from June, ‘Dawn‘, with ‘Tight’ – available to stream.
Two piece Highland-based prog band Haunted Comets follow their self-titled debut with a new track, ‘Trouble’, available to stream.
STEWXRT – a 20 year old rap artist from Oban – releases a seven-track album, ‘Finding My Way’, highlights his mental health struggles throughout lockdown – although, he says, “thee album also has an element of hope in it, and sends the message that everything is going to be okay.” Hear it here.
North Lanarkshire electronic dance/pop act Hydeaway & Ganunga have compiled together 13 of their most recent tracks. Find out why they’re a favourite of Clyde 1 dance king George Bowie here.
Liv Dawn – a singer-songwriter from Loch Lomond who supported Tom Walker on his UK Home Run Tour. She was also a finalist in the BBC Radio Scotland’s Singer/Songwriter of the Year Award, and releases ‘Welcome Home’ – the song which got here there to listen to online.
Rachel Jack‘s new single ‘For You’ follows her five track debut EP ‘The Calgary Tapes’, which was created while completing a songwriting scholarship with Paolo Nutini.
The new track is taken from her second EP ‘Magazine Girls’, due out next year.
Scots ex-pat Ewan Macintyre moved to Canada six years ago, following time setrves in Edinburgh Americana combo Southern Tenant Folk Union. His single ‘Same Story (Cigarette Butts)’ is available to stream now.
Rona Mairi – a singer/songwriter from Glasgow – releases a single ‘Sliding Away’, to stream on Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon Music
Scots-based Hip Hop artist Cling – originally from Clare Ennis, Ireland and raised by two Nigerian parents – releases his second studio EP ‘A Dance On The Moon’. Produced by Sean Focus and Alexander Middleton, it’s available to stream now.
The Ninth Wave release a new single ‘Everything Will Be Fine’ via Distiller Records. It’s just a stream but also comes with a brand new video.
