Craig Irving releases a new single, ‘You and Me’.

Recorded and mixed in Glasgow and Inverness during lockdown, it follows up April’s single release ‘Say Goodbye‘.

Of the new song, Irving says: “’You and Me’ comments on a situation that most of us experience in our lifetimes, not knowing where we stand or if we’re confident in both our own or someone else’s feelings”.

Raised in the Scottish Highlands, Irving spent his formative years as guitarist and vocalist with local traditional acts, winning a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award in 2015 for former outfit Talisk, as well as embarking on multiple worldwide tours with six-piece Gaelic band Mànran.

In 2019, the Inverness songwriter moved onto making “the kind of music I’ve wanted to create for a long time”, releasing singles ‘Fall’, taken from debut EP ‘When I First Met You’.

‘You and Me’ is available to stream or download now.
