Close Lobsters release a new single, ‘Godless’, via Last Night From Glasgow.
The second single from their album ‘Post Neo Anti’, it is, like that long player, and their ‘Foxheads Stalk This Land’ debut album, produced by John Rivers.
The Paisley ‘C86’ act, who were active from the mid-to-late 1980s, reformed to play the second Madrid Popfest in 2012, and recorded new material which surfaced on 2014’s ‘Kunstwerk in Spacetime’ EP.
The 2020 lineup sees four original members – Andrew Burnett, Bob Burnett, Tom Donnelly and Stewart McFadyen – joined by Jim Taylor, who replaces Graeme Wilmington.
The new album is a mix of material from between 2014 and 2019, and is available to download via Bandcamp or physically, Last Night From Glasgow or Shelflife Records (Portland, Oregon)
