Clivey MacDougall releases a festive EP, entitled ‘Xmas Noir’.
The EP is the Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter’s fourth release of the year following on from his most recent collection, August’s ‘One Way System‘.
The new release is available as a free/pay-what-you-like download, via Bandcamp.
MacDougall has also, this year, appeared on the Lost Cafe Sessions compilation album, as part of his former band of the 1990s, Blue On Shock.
The new EP consists of six tracks, which see the Leith-based songwriter experiment with a few unfamiliar genres including a “party banger” and a “Europop / Reggaeton hybrid” – the overall result being, he hopes, a “mixed very virtual socially remote ‘office party’ buffet.”
