Chvrches release a new single, ‘Empty Threat’. It follows up ‘Leave A Trace,’ which like the new track is taken from UK top 5 (and US top 10) album ‘Every Open Eye’.

The band have also announced two major shows next year, at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 31st March followed by a Glasgow gig at the SSE Hydro on 2nd April, which will feature The Twilight Sad as special guests.

Tickets for both shows go on general sale at 10am on Friday 4 December at http://gigst.rs/chv. All tickets include a charity donation.

former Aereogramme guitarist Iain Cook describes the new single as finding “the sweet spot between brighter melodies and darker lyrics, sparking synths and gritty production, that captures the essence of CHVRCHES.”
