Born to be Wide – Scotland’s leading regular music industry talking shop – brings Celtic Connections artistic director Donald Shaw to Edinburgh’s Electric Circus on Thursday 3 November.

The award-winning composer, musician and producer will be in conversation with Olaf Furniss and will look back over a career which has seen jim play on over 100 albums.

Following the interview, Shaw will also take part in a panel entitled Singing From A Different Song Sheet, exploring how different genres work and what they can learn from each other.

Joining him on the panel are electronic musician and producer Sarah J Stanley (aka HQFU) and Stewart Brock, frontman with Glasgow pop act, Prides. (An additional speaker should be confirmed closer to the event).
