Glasgow quartet Catholic Action release new album ‘In Memory Of’, on the Modern Sky label.

The band formed in 2014 but the 11-tracker is the debut from the four-piece – Chris McCrory, Ryan Clark, Jamie Dubber and Andrew Macpherson – and includes ‘Black & White’ and previous single ‘Propaganda’.

The band tour the UK alongside Nottingham act Kagoule, including a shows on 6th November at Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s and the following night, the 7th, at Broadcast in Glasgow.

McCrory is also a renowned producer, having worked with the likes of Siobhan Wilson, Breakfast Muff, The Pooches and Palm Honey, but on this occasion he has co-produced his band’s debut long-player along with Margo Broom, who has worked with Fat White Family, Goat Girl and Dead Pretties among others.

‘In Memory Of’ was then mixed by Rich Turvey (Blossoms, Clean Cut Kid) and Tom Longworth (Vryll Society, Tom Speight).
