Callum Beattie releases a new single ‘Talk About Love’, as a stream or download.
It follows up ‘Some Heroes Don’t Wear Capes’, a tribute to his father.
Beattie will release his debut album ‘People Like Us’ on May 15th. You can pre-order now here:
Of the self-penned single, Beattie says: “‘Talk About Love’ is a song I wrote about my own insecurities. It’s a song about finding it hard to express emotions towards certain people for fear of letting my guard down and what that would lead to.”
The video for the single documents Beattie’s first time in New York City. “If we would talk about love more, it will bring more positivity,” he says. “We seem to constantly talk about depressing things and see so much pain, so this heart-warming video follows the Scottish singer-songwriter walking the streets of the Big Apple, spontaneously doing positive and kind gestures for the people of the city.
In 2019 the singer-songwriter supported Razorlight and The Kooks on tour in the UK and Europe, and he has several UK live dates lined up for March:
11th March – YES, Manchester
12th March – The Courtyard Theatre, London
8th April – Cafe Drummond, Aberdeen
9th April – The Caves, Edinburgh
10th April – King Tut’s, Glasgow
