Punk-funk legends Boots For Dancing have a retrospective album release. ‘The Undisco Kidds’ comes as a double vinyl album as well as CD or download.

The band stem from the late 1970s, establishing crossovers and connections with the likes of The Rezillos, The Human League and Josef K along the way as well as supporting U2 and Talking Heads in their early years.

The release, via Athens of the North, is effectively their 1982 album-that-never-was.

The release comes with extensive sleeve notes by music writer Neil Cooper with additional words from the BBC’s Mark Hagen, and Jo Callis – formerly of Boots for Dancing and Rezillos and perhaps best-known for his time in The Human League.
