Glasgow trio Bob Cuba have finally put out their EP ‘Bounce’ digitally – 14 years after its original CD release on their own Fusion label.

Now on Spotify and iTunes, the tracks were written “in an upstairs room in Kilmarnock” and then recorded and produced in The Sound Joint studio in London.

The first track ‘Never Let You Go’ was played on Radio 1 about 4 weeks after its release and eventually featured on a Nickleodeon soundtrack, got ‘Album of the Week’ in The Sun, and the threesome played BBC and XFM Radio Sessions shortly after.

The trio – drummer/vocalist Colin ‘Cbob’ Stevenson, Stuart ‘Sbob’ Stevenson on guitar and vocals), and bassist (and sampler) John ‘Jbob’ Watt – hailed from Ayrshire / Glasgow. They went on to make a self-titled debut album in 2007, but ‘retired’ from the scene… although new recordings are promised…
