Some of Scotland’s top indie musicians are to release an album to contribute towards the aid effort for the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

The 18-track album Love Letter To Japan has been compiled by Duglas T Stewart of the BMX Bandits and aside from his band, features tunes from Craig Armstrong, Stevie Jackson of Belle & Sebastian, Eugenius, The Starlets, Momus and The Pastels.
